In Photoshop use Image > Adjustments > Posterize use setting 4. Then use filter (Filter Gallery) and use Artistic > Cutout. You will have to manipulate settings until you are happy with it. Also try different Artistic filters and see what you like. Then save your PSD with all of your images and import it into Motion to Animate.
Try to research around in the future as this sort of effect is pretty standard. Learning on your own is a great way of moving forward. Always strive to be autonomous learner. 😉

Boris 6 have a option to import EPS from which it will create a 3d object. This is not as powerful as using a real 3d software such as cinema 4d for example. If you want to be able to export cameras from 3d to work in apple motion then it is best to get cinema 4d 11.5.

Can you please give me more info. My tutorial is very easy to achieve, you have to make the movie then you export it. That is all. You need to tell me please a little bit more about your project please.

Have you tried deleting the preferences of motion. Also when is the last time you have resetted Parameter PRAM. I can not say that I have the same problem, I work with motion quite a lot. Only thing I have to do when I see that Motion slows things down is to save and restart Motion. Or if things goes very bad delete the preferences of Motion.

Apply the behavior to the group rather than object. also look at the 2d and 3d group this can flatten some of the effects thus no cut off.
If you have lots of objects create a group for only that object and apply behavior to the group not the object. -
Also note that Cinema 4D 11.5 can export cameras to motion, you also have mocha for Final cut Pro which is quite cheap but good tracking software.

Hi there,
Maybe this would be better why to create alpha, only because if you have lots of assets and groups you would need to apply levels filter quite a few times.Do the following:
1. Go to VIEW then Channels then select ALPHA
2. Then go to FILE Export click on the option button (this will take you to EXPORT OPTIONS dialog box). Then select output and unchecked use current project and canvas settings.
Where it says COLOUR change from colour + alpha to ALPHA.Close the window and render the movie. Anything you have in your project will be rendered as a ALPHA ONLY or B&W. Then bring back the movie and use it as What ever you want. This will render only B&W information.
