Thanks guys you are awesome! the problem was indeed in the Xvid Settings

in customize template->Xvid Settings -> click “more” near profile@ level->aspect ratio

I clicked the “default” button (square 1:1), now works like a charm!!!!

please help – what happens is that in the beginning of some of the video clips I get a “1st frame” that is random (or at least definitely not the first frame)

thanks! I’ve tried the things suggested above, however they didn’t solve my issue- I can NOT predict if there will be any letterboxing without first rendering the movie. This seems to be revolved around the “maintain aspect ration” checkbox in the video materials I’m using. For instance,2 identical videos except for resolution, one with “maintain aspect ratio” on and one off will look identical in the preview window, but when rendered the one without without “maintain aspect ratio” will be letterboxed and the other won’t be even though they look exactly the same in the preview window.

hi! I plan to buy some fabric and pin it to a wall, to clarify my question is there a specific shade of green that I should get- I don’t know what those are measured in in fabric stores but in photoshop it’s around #00FF12
