I got it to work by hitting enter on the main keyboard(I was hitting enter
on the numeric key). However, I can’t save the settings as default even after
    hitting save.

When I open the invigorator work window & go back to user prefs,
    it’s back to the original default 50, -50, 0.

    Thanks again.

Thanks for the reply Matt, I am using 4.0 pro on a PC.

Thank you, Serge. I will try that first and let you know.

Yes, definitely make your text source in either photoshop or illustrator.
I’ve done a 3minute endcredit roll for a feature animation. I laid out the
entire credit information – like on a long vertical paper with format and
font I chose. I brought that into AE and postion animated as Filip mentioned.

You need to open the tranform properties on the 3d layer and click on reset.

I don’t believe there is such a thing.
If you want to move the layer, it’s Alt+page up or down, but the keyframes
will move with it. The only way I can think of is to cut the keyframes and
repaste with the time indicator set at new location after moving the layer.

You are a modest, John. I’d rather watch one good turorial(like yours)
than read some wordy tutorials that are sometimes difficult to grasp.

    We absolutely love them, john.
    Please keep them coming.

As a long time AE user, the tutorial is fairly easy to follow, but more
importantly, the fundamentals that John conveys is I think very valuable.
It truly builds a strong foundation for anyone’s skills and knowledge.

    Thank you, John.

I prefer ctrl+alt+left click on the keyframe because you don’t need to take your right hand off the mouse(which is busy clicking on things).

I totally agree with Dave and Steve.
I would be scared to have auto-save turned on by accident even if there was one, because while I’m just testing things out on a project and it gets saved,
it could be point of no return on projects that are very style senstive.

Try shatter with radial gradient as gradient map. Animate the threshold.

    Good luck
