Hi Sean,

You will need to add a mask to the blur to define the blur area, than you will add the mask’s position to the tracker data (Track1 etc’)

I would be very interested as I did a few variable graphs in DR Fusion and had to enter data manually (for the animation)..

It’s a mac pro 5,1 , OSX version 10.13.6 8 core (2×2.4GHz Quad-Core) with 40 GB Ram, GTX1060 6GB running on Web Driver, GT120 for screens, SSDs, BM Decklink 8K Pro card

Source material is 4K 25p and converted to 1080p 25 Pro-res proxy, timeline is 1080p25

Using Studio with a dongle … – Davinci 15 works perfectly well..

I tried many different formats and codecs but non plays video in the viewers, only Audio..

I am not sure where is the glitch (* Fusion and Fairlight are external modules so I think that they don’t use the same playback engine- just a link therefore I can see the picture)

** When I am at the media tab and playing back preview from clips on the drives, I can hear the audio, if I flick between the (Left buttom corner of the viewer drop down menu) between Source to Audio Track and back to Source I can see the picture for a brief second – Like a frame and than black again..

Any idea?

I reboot and continue (with a blocked connection ) , it did about 80% of the job and crashed again..

Not sure what caused it to crash, tried to find the logs but not sure where..

I read it, but it does not work for what I am looking for, we need to monitor the sound, not to export / render (that is the last stage).

By monitoring – I mean – seeing it on the external UV meters on the external monitors, sound devises.. before we output..

It seems that BM didn’t finish the proper development of the DR 14 (for me, this is still in beta) and I do not recommend to move to it just yet.. not if you are working with it as a finishing software – last stage of the production – DCPs – delivery etc’

Unfortunately not, just tried it but it doesn’t work as well..

DaVinci, as it is now, went back a few steps and it’s not a real finishing system, just a grading one..

it is still irritating, even in 12.5..

Why don’t they have a small function of keep it tidy, stick to grid etc’ so basic.. especially when it’s getting crowded..

I just had the same issue, for a short film, my fix (that worked very well and stayed in sync) is:

I duplicated the media managed folder (with all the final film media in it)
opened cinema tools, conformed all of the 23.98fps to 24fps
Created a new project in FCP 7
Copied the final timeline to the new project
copy all tracks of the old timeline and paste it on a new time line that I created as 24 fps (i made sure that it is 24 and not 23.98)
Checked that its all in sync (it was)
created the xml and imported it to resolve, made sure that resolve timeline is on 24fps and the video monitoring was on 24p (not PsF) , imported the sound from the FCP 24 timeline and all was in sync.

Hope it can work for you as all of my previous test in resolve did not yield any good results, I even tried to change the XML but to no avail.
