  • Adding blur to a moving object in fusion

Hi, I’ve added a tracker to track an object moving through time, I want to blur that object as it moves through time. My node pipe is ‘media in – Tracker – blur – media out’, I also have a text node merged with the tracker and blur. My issue is that I can’t seem to blur just the tracked object, instead the whole image is blurred. Anybody have any tips here or any idea of what i’m missing here?

    Thanks

    S

    Hi Sean,

You will need to add a mask to the blur to define the blur area, than you will add the mask’s position to the tracker data (Track1 etc’)

    Good luck

One other question, I have put text on top of the blurred area, but the blur is layered over the text area in some parts, this must be an issue with my node piping?

Anything you don’t want blurred simply has to be farther down your nide tree than your blur…its just like working in layers
