Maybe you’ve solved it allready.
In case you didn’t i suggest using MPEG streamclip(it’s free on http://www.squared5.com) and extract any part or the whole DVD straight from the disc as .m2v files, cut the scene using your authoring software and build the disc again.

One more vote for Nucleo.I see the 2 x 244 Opterons at 100% while rendering…

I render all before viewing and even after quiting FCP and playing the .mov with Quick Time Player it doesn’t play smoothly,even small file size movies(250-300Mb).That’s why i think it’s the system settings wrong.Another thing i noticed on FCP settins is that memory usage shows 2560Mb and still cache 241Mb.Should i increase still cache?
