Big headake
After a week editing a 3hrs long raw wedding footage I gave the edition to the client. After a week she call me today to correct a minor disapoint.(to me) (mother of the groom elbowing her husband to pay attention to the shooting) This scene is repeated 2 times consecutive. Unknown reason for this)
The worst is that precisely today, half hr before she called in, I delete all footage from my PC. I thought that I could find the rendered avi files for Encore or could be in some auto safe….or maybe making a restore point but can’t find any rendered file and my last restore date was in August 2. ALL IS GONE!
The last chance is capturing the DVD (her copy because I don’t get any) knowing this will decrease the final quality. (I warned her of this but she still want to go ahead.
I know there is a way to rename the VOB files to make mpeg able to PP2 but I had try it and never got any good results.
Any of you, guys, know a simple way to rename the VOB files? The time I did the audio is out of sync for a lot and the files are always the same repetition.
I have watched a tutorial by Bob Garret but still I have making something wrong.
What is best to keep the quality: capture the DVD playback of rename the files??
Thanks in advance for any help
