could you elaborate a bit further on “Document color” because by default the document color is white, and you change the document color by using the master pages.

well a pdf has extra information than a normal jpeg and by either resizing the inserted pdf using the direct tool or sending the pdf to photoshop then save back as a jpeg and place it again should do the trick

depending on your design, you would probably want to give the shadow a color that will be visible against the black background, next thing is to make sure that the dialog box that opens for specifications on the drop shadow, on the blending options which is set to multiply by default is changed to normal and the opacity is set to a 100%.

what are you trying to do
what are the shapes for maybe what you are trying to create is
causing the problem.
try a new comp with text only if that works then I bet its what
you are creating thats causing the problem.
just thinking maybe the shape is some sort of a mask or something
and you have combined one two things.

I hope it works when you isolate the components

hey thanks for the reply
that seems to be a straight forward way
I was just thinking maybe using matchmover for the footage and incorporate the glowing flowers just as you said would also work on places like, the floor,roof where fitting the layer is difficult.
