That’s cool about the priest … I have 2 wireless systems and for location shoots you can power them using 2 6 volt lantern batteries hooked in series providing your system works on 12 volts DC most do … I also was able to build everything into a small cooler, (you can pick them up at Walmart for about 17 bucks) ………….. Next time might I suggest that you can tuck the wireless under the clothing so that can’t be seen … I do an outdoors fishing show and you have to get creative to keep the wind from drowning out the voice and since wind screens aren’t that effect I have discovered by putting the mic’s inside I don’t get the wind, they are out of view yet my audio is still high end … Glad you were able to find some EQ points but the overall dynamics of the audio will be affected ……. Sorry Brian, but once you have echo it’s there to stay … You may be able to take it out a bit but the audio will really suffer … I would sugget a re-shoot if possible … If you are in a situation like that again and have a wireless system you can use it will eleminate the ehco … Wish I had better news for you, but I don’t. sorry … WILLIE
I hear you … I find Audition 1.5 to be as stable as CEP, but it’s basically the same program … Adobe needs to correct the problems before I use 2.0 ……………. WILLIE
INST OR MIC > COMPRESSOR, LIMITOR AND OR TUBE PRE > TO BOARD > MAIN OUTS TO STUDIO MONITORS > CONTROLL ROOM OR AUX OUT TO COMPUTER … I would recogmend recording everything dry unless you have an effects box on your electric you want to use … Make sure that your outputs on Addition are set the same ………. WILLIE
Never a truer word spoken … I know at some point they will get it together and correct 2.0’s short commings, I hope it’s soon … When Cool Edit, (adobe purchased cool edit and made it Audtion) went from 1.5 to it’s 2.0 version it had the same bad luck the difference is that they came out with the corrections in less than 6 months after 2.0’s release … Looks like the 2.0 curse is still out there and workin it’s wonderful magic …………. WILLIE
I wouldn’t think so, you can always reinstall … 2.0 has some issues and it seems Adobe isn’t going to address them till maybe the next build … I won’t use it till they do which is a bummer because there are some great features in 2.0 ……….. WILLIE
