Forgive me but I need to ask, are you using a pop filter on the mic? What is the volume you are recording at? Is this a new system? If it’s not and the problem has just started have you added any new equipment to the system? It would be helpful to be able to hear it for myself so if you want please E-mail me a minute or so to loganonestudio@aol.com ……………. WILLIE

Right click on the track then go to LOOP PROPERTIES when the page comes up check ENABLE LOOPING and hit OK … Now you will have to put the pointer on the lower right corner of the clip left click and hold … You will now be able to drag the clip out for as long as you want … Is this clip one you composed or is it out of the loopology folder? If it is a loop you composed you may have issues with a clean loop … If you have any questions write back ……………. WILLIE

Once you move the cursor again it will loose the highlight and to my knowlege this can’t be changed … Cue marks will do what you want to accomplish ……. WILLIE

Sorry must have miss read your post, (being a brain dead burn out it happens)… I am at a loss here since I have not ran into this before … Did you contact Adobe, not that they are much help, but at least it’s worth a shot … I will keep checking on my end and see if I can get any answers … I do know that a simular anomily happens when you mixdown to MP 3 …….. I haven’t experienced it, but as long as it’s just silence delete it and move on … I am thinking it may not be VST but the way you have your session set up, make sure you don’t have any unwanted silence at the end or the begining of each track … If there is any black between the zero point and the start of the track this will cause it … WILLIE

When you say “longer” is the actual clip longer or do you have some space at the front end or the back? When I edit a sequence in P Pro I will export the audio and then edit it in Audition … Once edited I do a mixdown and replace the original audio with the mixdown and have never ran into a problem like you are having … I can’t think of anything in the settings that could cause it either … I am leaning toward space at the front or backside which can be taken care of by a simple highlight and cut while on the edit side before you save … Let me know if this is the problem, if not I will try and find a solution ………. There are a multitude of effects that you can add … Make sure you record without any outboard effects … You will have to experiment, but if I remember right I think they only have echo … If you get stuck on it and can E-mail me a sample of the sound you are looking to achieve I can direct you as to how to do it via the forum … E-mail to loganonestudio@aol.com ……… WILLIE

Along the top you will see a button that you can hit that will give you a que mark, just place your cursor where you want the que to be and hit the button … It sounds like you are doing this on the edit side, I think it would be easier on the session side … Just highlight the section and right click on it … When the menu comes up just hit cut and it will remove the section … You will have to move the section to the right over to match it but that cut will always be there … Once you have it all edited you do a mixdown of the edited track … WILLIE

The only way you can import an MPEG file into Audition is if you purchased the full production studio … If you have purchased just Audition then you will need to convert it to an AVI file …….. WILLIE

You can create envelopes on the session side or you can highlight where you want to lower the volume at bring the clip into the edit side and do a minus amplification on the highlighted section …… WILLIE
