Personally, I think your problrm is 2.0 … As it stands right now I won’t use it, my suggestion is go back to 1.5 I think your problems will be solved … When you have the cursor problem how many tracks do you have up and do you have channel mixers on these tracks ………… WILLIE

    Doug,

I have never ran into this problem but I am thinking it may be 2.0 … I used the same setup, with the exception of going through an outboard mixing board for years and never had this problem … The onboard sound is it a blaster or simular card or is it actually intergrated into the mother board? I know this may not be it, but just to eliminate check the mixer in your soundcard, the windows mixer, and options in Audition to make sure the single path is routed properly … Where do you have your headphones plugged into? Should be directly connected to the audio out on the soundcard … You may want to try to uninstall and re-install Audition … Let me know what you find out ……… WILLIE

You may have to use the “REWIRE” feature which you can find on the device order page I believe … You are doing the right thing by wanting to use an external mixer … As far what equipment I would shop and read anything that is posted by consumers … I have a friend who uses a Presonus Firepod and swears by it … I personally use a layla 24 with an Allan & Heath studio mixing board … If you want an outborad mixing board there isn’t much out there that isn’t a “live Board” VS a “Studio Board” but depending on your use a virtual board will do just fine … I hope this helps …………. Jack,

It may be possible if it’s not too far back … You will want to use the parametric EQ and try and lock onto the chello’s major frequencies … If you would like I am willing to look at it just E-mail me a minute or so sample … Email to loganonestudio@aol.com and I will look at it tonight when I get home ………… WILLIE

  • Richard,

Don’t worry about listening to what you are recording if you are the recordee, the only thing they need to hear is what you are playing and or signing to … You should be able to route everything to your headphone … If you are the one workin the buttons and knobs, (now that is some real techy talk there) then of course you would want to hear everything going on … Now quit stallin and get to that recordin (<-:) WILLIE

Read up on ENVELOPES in the help file … You can also take the clip you want to fase into the edit side, highlight the length of fade you want and in the favorite menu one of the defaults is fade out, double click on it and you will be good to go ………. WILLIE
