Yes of course to a Black solid.

My work computer has version trapcode 2.2.3 and my work machine has 2.2.2 and it is doing the same thing.

I just tried it on another machine at work which has CS6 and it works fine.

Has something suddenly changed that i don’t know about since the latest upgrade for AE?

thank you so much for your quick response!

I will use your script though haha

Is there a technique for the the particular effect (trapcode) if i bring it in to my comp and the particles are not in the camera view too?

you cant parent that layer to anything can you?

That is such a useful script thank you!

Just so I know what is the way you would do it manually with out it?

I know if you have a camera parented to the null you can parent the 3d layer to the null and 0 out the xyz position but it some times does not work when you have moved the Z position on the camera layer?

That way also does not work if you have a null with the XYZ positions separated as i do in my current project.

with the bulge effect you cant enter a negative value

I have used the warp effect with the style set t bulge how ever even with the layer collapsed i am still getting some pixelated edges

Would you know how to fix this with out blurring it ???

    Thanks

Yeah I understand that but my friend can do the same thing in imovie on the latest
Mac book pro. When he exports the video is perfect at the settings I have already said
So why is it different on mine ? Maybe because my mac is three years old and I have fcp5 ?

  • Thank you Alen
it was indeed because you need to open After Effects up after Illustrator, i had the same problem and now its fine
