Trapcode Particular with AE 2015 (new update)
Since the latest AE update I have suddenly found that when I apply particular to a layer and change the opacity over life to fade on and off nothing changes. It just comes on linearly. The same applies to when I change the size over life
When i tried exactly the same settings on the first version of AE CC the particle faded on and off correctly without a problem.
I then saved the project file from the original AE CC and opened it in the latest version of AE 2015 and the particles faded on and off but when i tried to change it back to the default settings it did not change and continued to fade on and off.
I am using particular 2.2.2
Is anyone else having this issue?

Are you applying to an adjustment layer?
Always best to apply to a black layer and then add/screen/overlay it, but I expect you already know that -
Yes of course to a Black solid.
My work computer has version trapcode 2.2.3 and my work machine has 2.2.2 and it is doing the same thing.
I just tried it on another machine at work which has CS6 and it works fine.
Has something suddenly changed that i don’t know about since the latest upgrade for AE?

I fixed it
I just went on to the Red Giant site and downloaded Trapcode suite again and in the installation it had after effects 2015 now in the instal which fixed it.

Same problem here, I have to relaunch after effects 2015 to see the changes.
