    Hey

I found the problem – something went awry with the import from the cam archive – I reimported and it linked all the files – That solved the export issue

Was weird because FCPX didnt show any disconnected clips….. I just tried a reimport and voila it solved it

    Hi

    Hi

Ok well the JVC does that, its the way it works with the clips. BUT when you put them back to back in the timeline… Its one mark to the frame…. seamless…

    Hi

Ok explain what do you mean broken up into small clips….. If you take a 1 min clip… does it auto break it up into small clips of a few seconds each ?

Or if you shoot a 16GB card of lets say 120 clips you see 120 clips…… Or do you want to see 1 clip as you would in the days when you logged and captured ?! And then had to scrub to see the different clips ?

    Just need to know

    Hi

The firmware on the HM100 does not support 64Gig cards of any favor – 32G is the max it will support. The new HM150 supports up to 128G…..

    Hi Ian

Thanx for that response…. So if I understand it right FCP 7 and FCPX does support the EX1 in Log and Transfer or do you need a special plug in for it to work

  • Hi

I have been using 2 options and they work like a dream..

First up I use MpegStreamclip…. does it in a breeze
If you want to go a bit more upscale with more options on the export Episode does a good
Job as well, nut u have to buy the package … Streamclip is free

    Hi Andreas

Thnx for the tip… I hear you and to be honest I never knew that bit… Im kinda new to FCPX…. I know & backwards, but this has got me stumped.

U sees this even happens if I pull in a PNG image… Lets say a logo. I place it in the top corner and I put a simple effect onto the LOGO…. It applies it to the time line as well…. The image on which its laid ???

    Thnx

    Hi Neil

We are based in SA its all work for Supersport.

I have a quick question…. So basically when you export H.264 from a DV PAL time line it changes the dominance from lower to upper ??

As you have to indicate the field dominance on the Final Control sheet for TX , it would be UPPER then … as FCP sees it not LOWER as indicated when you export !

Sorry this can get quite interesting. We used to send them MOV’s . But they have now requested H.264

    Thnx
