    FCP x not exporting error

    HI all

    Fcpx 10.1.3 not allowing me to share project. Keeps telling me ” cant share project while it’s referencing media on camera”. All clips are on an external drive. None are disconnected. All online….

    Any ideas thnx

    The classic error.

    Could it be that a) the camera or card are still connected/mounted and b) some of the clips in the event have a small camera icon in their thumbnail at the bottom left?

    Simply select “Reimport from camera/card”.

    Hey

    I found the problem – something went awry with the import from the cam archive – I reimported and it linked all the files – That solved the export issue

    Was weird because FCPX didnt show any disconnected clips….. I just tried a reimport and voila it solved it
