Click the adjustment layer properties and there is a square with and arrow down. Click on that and presto.

Old post, but Edit/File Preferences/import. Change that to 24 or 30 fps

LOL, sorry but that is the wrong answer. He is looking for something to stop the preview while you are previewing it in real time.

I see this is an old post but in After Effects create a balloon like shape and put a radial gradient on it. Then you will want to keyframe Scale, Position, and a wave warp.
