I hate to be that guy, but I suggest you dump the local guy and go with a vendor that knows his/her stuff and can actually speak to your needs not just build a supped up gaming machine with the latest specs. There are lots of advertisers on here that would love to build you a smokin fast machine that will serve you well… And make you lots of money with your faster turnaround ability. Good luck and God bless I hope you find what your looking for.

This may be obvious but did you hit start? I have walked away only to come back with out ever hitting that button

I believe you are mistaken, if a external harddrive has multiple interfaces you can only use one at a time with the exception of daisy chaining firewire devices…
I am fairly condident that you can’t daisy chain from usb to firewire
((that just sounds like a headache coming on)) -
In the future I recommend that you capture with FCP not iMovie, you will have less problems with sequence settings.

Thanks All,
I think I will hold off on the full out door to door, until I have the mock website built and I think doing the research and going in prepared is a great tip. I had some businesses in mind so I will start with those and then expand my “knocking”Would you go as far a preparing a mock website for each company or simply a generic one. I was thinking about taking screen captures of their existing websites and then overlaying a demo video. How valuable would you say personalization like this be?
Thanks for providing insight into your business and helping us grow and mature ours.

be careful when you say hot swappable, The mac pro drives may not have cables, but they are not hot swappable. Be sure to power off the machine before swapping drives.

I have used Pro Presenter previously, you can find more information at renewedvision.com Depending on the computer configuration (1 or multiple computers) You can use one or multiple video files. We used one video file and it seemed to work extremely well. The real hint we found for smooth playback was using one codec for all of the files. The codec that worked and looked best on our projections was photojpeg. You might find something different, but that is what we found.

Place your image in a new layer, add either (4-point garbage matte) filter or (8-point garbage matte) to the image. Then adjust the corner points to fit the shape of the computer monitor.
Hope that helps

Have you tried garbage matting a still image?
Maybe with a glow filter you may get the effect you are wantingGood Luck
