Thanks everyone. You would think that there would be a cleaner way to get this done. I will try out all your suggestions.

I should say, all I need to do is create the CC video, output the file as Quicktime, then convert to WMV and FLV files to be run on the FEMA web site – WMV and FLV are all that is allowed.
    Using:
    FCP 7.03
    trying out MovCaptioner
    General use Aimersoft for conversions

    Thanks for any help.

Thanks guys – the transcription is rough but better than nothing. What is the best way to watch the video and read the transcript at the same time to make corrections. Sorry I’m new to Premiere – used Photoshop forever but not Premiere.

Well I finally found it. It is under the Metada section. Let’s see how well it works..IE: how accurate.
    Thanks

Thanks so much Shane. I edit in FCP Pro-Res. Think I’ll stay that way.

Thanks I’ve been thinking about that. I’m not seeing very good workflow comments on using Quicktime and HD with Avid. I’m swamped and hoping for some serious suggestions, I owned Media Composers for 10 years in the past, liked it but upgrades got way to expensive for non-profit work. In many ways I prefered the MC interface to FCP.
    Thanks

Looking at use for both field and desktop use.

Thanks for the reply. CS4 for Premiere Pro. In the sequence settings it says 1280*1080 16:9. DVCPro HD (1.5). That’s my problem. Can’t change them.

    Appreciate the help.
