Is it the power distributer from the v-lock mounting plate? How many volts coming out of the mounting plate?

You really need to use a broadcast probe to calibrate a monitor. It also helps to have blue gun only on the monitor. Another option is to send Broadcast SMTPE bars to all devices which has a known profile that can be checked on a scope. You can then see how close they match.

Or if you have a known image that you can send to each device and adjust to that known image.

I think what Jeremy is say is, 45 minutes of video is 45 minutes of video. The only thing that changes is the SMTP time code associated with it so the broadcasters clock stays the same. Since video plays back NTSC at 29.97, the timecode clock would cause a drift. Hence DF TC.

It’s quite good. There is a lens crop factor of 1.75x. The images are sharp and crisp. It’s just more difficult to get a wide angle with the crop factor. The video is also 17×9 full 4K DCI.

If you know AE and Illustrator, this is all you need for credits. Illustrator is one of the best text handlers out there. And it continuously rasterizes in the AE comp.

I make a very long document in Illustrator using an HD or 2K or 4K template for width. I set up all the type/text for the credits in a Word doc with the spacing in the center (left right center column justified) as is the norm.

Illustrator can import and place a word doc. I then adjust fonts, size etc. in Illustrator.

Now I bring the Illustrator file into AE, animate to my hearts content and voila! And if there are changes, I just use the edit original command in AE, make the changes in Illustrator and Ta Da! This is for the credit roll.

I do the same thing for static and single card titles.

I have a Late 2011 15″ Macbook Pro and I added a 1TB Samsung 850Pro SSD. It now screams! It boots in less than 30 seconds.

I have a Thunderbolt RAID I hook up to the Apple 27″ Thunderbolt monitor and you can throw pretty much anything at this thing. I also have a Firewire 800 RAID for it and that is fast enough for ProRes 422HQ 1080p multiple streams.
