Is it just your preview window thats pixelated or is it the already-rendered movie ?

I just want to make a simple movie on my computer that’s not too large, doesn’t take 7 hours to render, when I finish my project I never know which codec (and under what options) is best to use. I’m just wondering what other people use when they render their movies.

It really depends on how much your FPS is dropping, 1-3 and maybe 4 shouldn’t make much difference. My RAM is a little weak and I’ve tried doing what you are doing,my FPS drops by 3 sometimes when I’m recording. Doesn’t seem to have much effect on the time code or the over-all look of the video.

Thanks so much Hector! Great program! I’m surprised the makers weren’t professional enough to figure that the “DEMO” title can be easily edited out :P.

Thank you! That is a very good idea and we will probably use it, but I was wondering how you would do this with a normal .jpg file? I tried the same for this but you can still see the white background of the image on top, how do I get rid of the image’s background?
