The control seems to be limited to the signed integer range. I think you should report this as a bug!
If you access the value like this in the place you need to use it (replacing column and row with your actual cell address and remembering the first cell is [0,0], not [1,1]):
footage("Book2.csv").dataValue([column,row])you will get the actual value, not the clamped one.

Change the layer’s blend mode to “Silhouette Alpha.”

You mentioned rotoscoping. Are you using the Rotobrush tool? If yes, you should be sure to at lease Freeze it, or possibly even pre-render that layer.

There’s a button in the Preview panel to show overlays and layer controls in preview. You could enable this and then do a screen capture, or you could do the series of screenshots.

This is commonly called “judder,” and it’s the result of your move being too fast for your frame rate. When the amount of change between one frame and the next is too great, we lose the illusion of smooth motion — not all moves are possible to execute smoothly.
Cinematographers carefully time their pans to avoid this in motion pictures; although adding motion blur sometimes helps, I think your best bet here is to slow down the move.
