  • I’ve had this problem over a straight year and NOT A SOUL can help. Or they just ignore it because they can’t fix it. I’ve gotten over 30 views on my exact same post and NO ONE has answered. Any resolution yet?

I just fixed the link. I’m sorry about that. I accidentally had it set to private. It’s public now.

This is true. I studied up on my file and its 23.976 fps in PP, progressive. I wanted to know if you could direct me on how to remove the pulldown in PP so i could have everything squared away for when i dynamic link the file over to AE for the rotobrush tool.

I’m using After Effects CC and Premiere Pro CC.

Can you tell me how to do this? I’m so lost! :{ I just wanna rotoscope with my video footage which is read as 23.976 but it says its 24 in camera.

Okay, so I’ve uploaded some pictures to my Flickr to show you, this first one is what it looks like when i bind the bones together on the first frame. It looks just fine and all that but for some reason the animation is facing downward towards the floor, seen here:

Then when i press play, the character is not only animating downward, rather than the z axis, but is also distorted and all noodley, seen here:

    AND

PLEASE HELP OR SUGGESTIONS, FOR THE LIFE OF ME, IM LOST!!!! :'(

I’m not animating it, I’ve done an animation in another program and exported it as an fbx file. On the first frame, I do move the joints to line up with the character and key frame each bone on the first frame to bind them together. The animation is attached to the character but it just makes the arms and legs look distorted during the animation. I’ve done everything they’ve told me in the tutorials at least a dozen times and it still looks like this.

What do you mean by “scale keys?” I have scale the fbx animation up to the model to bind it, but I also have tried scaling the model to the fbx animation as well and they both have the same result. 🙁
