    Mr. Torke
You can also try to animate “Wind X” Property of particles.
    1. Say you have an animation of 10 seconds.
    2. Then for first 2 secs let “Wind x=0” then at 5th sec inc. its value to 50(Approx.) to give a slow motion towards right.
    3. Than at 7th sec inc. “Wind x to 1000”. This will make particles to move suddenly towards right. You try to even inc. the value more than 1000. Change last key frame to easy ease in. and chamge the graph according to requirement.

As Mr. Jeluscu has said you can also use time remapping.

  • Mr. Becker try to bring the output quality to draft in Premiere pro and quarter in AE for working. This will reduce your ram usage. You can also try to change the “Playback Settings” by clicking on the “Output” button near safe title button in viewer.

    Mr. Little
This happens when you have a vector shape in precomp and try to resize it.

Best thing is just Enable the “Collapse Transformation” switch of your comp and you will get what you want. Its for vector layers specially.

    Mr. Arruhaili
To make this kind of effect follow the steps below:
    1. Make a text layer
    2. Add an “Opacity” Animator to it.
    3. Now Open the drop down menu of “Range Selector” and “Advance” options.
    4. In “Advance” option bring “Smoothness” and”Opacity” to zero.
    5. Now Key frame your “Offset” from 0 to -ve 100 for your desired time. This will make your text appear from right to left as typewriter does.

    Now to make a cursor:

    1. Add “Character Value” Animator to your text.
    2. Again Open the drop down menu of “Range Selector” and “Advance” options.
    3. Choose “Character Value” as 95(or change according to need).
    4. Again in “Advance” option bring “Smoothness” and”Opacity” to zero.
    5. Now Key frame your “Offset” from 100 to 0(or may be in -ve value) for your desired time.
    6. Make sure for this Animator, you keep the “End Value down to 0(or say 10)in Range Selector.

    Mr. Tomash
To cut the alpha channel of flares, its better to use Knoll’s “UnMult” plugin which is free to download. It will Automatically remove the black bg from flares and from any other footage or image file just in one click.

Just check your Audio/Video settings from MaC button menu. And try to change some settings over there and see is there a message showing that firewire is missing??

Also in logging window, check the tabs for logging and try to use some different settings.

  • Mr. Webster

There is an another trick to use use blending modes more efficiently.
Select your layer, then press “SHIFT plus -or+” keys. you can change blending modes without opening the whole list and choosing again and again.

And if you don’t want to see your effects panel, just click on the small marker at the top right side of the panel and choose “Close Panel”.
Now if you apply any effect, it wont come. To get it again you can Reset your workspace from Window tab.
