    I use Dubs Express in SF. They do a really great job and Bart their engineer
    really pays attention to details. Pal to Ntsc should cost at least a third less than
    quoted. You can check their website for exact prices.

    They don’t work. On the forum on their website they say they are having problems with the Parser and they are working on it.
    On my machine the film stuff doesn’t work and the glows don’t either

    We’ve be using this setup with our G5 and IO. We use an OWC firewire card. We put the IO on the G5s internal bus and everything else on the card, Ntsc and Pal decks and firewire drives.No problems with the system at all.

    For anyone else who may be having this problem. It seems you have to change the settings in the frame controls, it doesn’t seem to matter exactly what you change, and then the files are read correctly in FCP.

    I always figure they’re the last on the technology bandwagon. For several years after I got my first CD burner ($2000-1x) I had to deliver audio on small reel 7.5ips for a local network affiliate.
