The advantage of Dynamic link is no render from After Effects to Premiere. You are importing a raw AE project right into Premiere.

If your end result is Digibeta, then your resolution will still be standard video (720 x 480).
If you zoom in at 200%, just double the resolution of standard video for your picture export. In square pixels that would translate to 1280 x 960. Or why not just work with the raw pictures at their original resolution ?
Unless it ends up slowing down your machine to a crawl…

You are are working in Square Pixels, you should export at 640×480 (Don’t forget about the safety margins)

You should be using uncompressed for both the export from Premiere AND After Effects.

Keylight is part of the third party package on the CD (Separate folder). It doesn’t install by default.

After Effect is definitely better at anything that involves compositing, because, well, that’s what it was designed for 😉
I like the Keylight plugin myself.

It could be a firewire cable problem. Also, make sure the deck is the only thing plugged in the firewire ports.
Honestly, if all fails, I would go get a version of Scenalizer, or even download the free WINDV.

I would uninstall any HP software that would be controlling that feature. Or maybe it’s just a driver compatibility issue.

Got it… But just a couple of things. Make sure use the try out version first and check that the frame rate you are getting is actually 30, and not between 5 and 10 😉
An other thing I noticed, and for those of us who work with corporate slides, by using those Power Point to video converters, the clarity of the presentation, which is already usually in small fonts since it is for projection, is heavily diminished by the compression they use to keep up with the frame rate. And finally you usually end up having to scale it down further in Premier since people almost never build presentations with safe margins in mind. I would end up with a presentation that would not be at all readable on a TV screen.
I know this is absolutely 10 times faster, and hopefully what your client expects, but sometimes you just have to take the longer way 😉
