    Hello All!

I have some footage that I shot on green screen, and I keyed it using the keyer tools. I seem to get a smoother key when I doing my keying in After Effects vs. Premeire Pro. Is there something that I am missing in Premeire? Is one better than the other?

    Thanks for the input!

After Effect is definitely better at anything that involves compositing, because, well, that’s what it was designed for 😉

I like the Keylight plugin myself.

If you have After Effects Pro then the Keylight plugin is the best choice by far.

Not to mention garbage masking is way better in AE…

of course it’s better still in combustion…but that’s a different discussion all together..

    “that’s a different discussion”

ok it’s friday….. time to stop typing now…

IMO, Premiere Pro has one of the worst keyers in the NLE market. I have seen better results from a $100 application. If you feel that the Premiere keyer performs poorly, please file a feature request on Adobe’s site.
