Mackie 1604 in my suite…love it to death. Have my Beat Deck, I/O analog outs, DVD/VCR, and DSR analog signaals all going through it and have some slots still open.

I would think it would depend on what your final delivery has to be. I do alot of TV work and have to deliver on Digi beta, but to take things in at 10 bit becomes unrealistic with the amount of tape I have to load. I take things in at 8bit to US DV 48 do my edit and then recapture my final cut at 10 bit for output.

I would take it all in at DV if you don’t have to finish at 10 bit and if you do just recapture your finished cut at 10 bit.

I looked in the archives before you guys got back to me and found that out….I am ewaiting foe my upgrade but….the place where I was working has already upgaded and have offered me their disc to upgraade my system….will this be cool or will there be a serial number issue? My system has been rock solid for over 2 years now and I don’t want to f it up.

I have BCC….which keyer are you refering to? And no I am not pulling out a green screen. She is sitting at a desk in front of the Roman Coliseum thus the matte. It sounds like AE is the way to go with this.
