I started the project on another system….carefully moved all my material to a portable firewire drive….checked to make sure that everything worrked before I left….get to my studio, plug it in, launch FCP and get the “general error 41” message.

I really want to finish this here at my place….any help?

    TIA

    Hi,

I’m not sure on the software upgrading front. But you could try exporting to an older version via the:

    ‘File>Export>XML’ (Interchange Format Document)

then in your version of FC

    ‘File > Import > XML’.

    Hope it helps.
