I have used the waveform plugin before, I did NOT know that you could apply it as a mask though. I’ll definitely try and do that equalizer as well. Thanks for the links.

Sorry for being a little vague. Here are some more details. The music track is going to be an trance/techno song and I do want video/images syncing with the beats. The way I think about it is how an equalizer will react to the music. Another example would be a text layer scaling up and down as the volume of the song gets louder and softer.

You could always just edit the video in AE and then after importing to PP put the edited video on top of it.

I think I read before that you needed to use the horizontal span mode with premire and drag it across to the other screen. is it stil lthat way, or can you simply drag things to the other screen now?

Well, the last time I tried daul displays with preimerepro , I remembert that it didnt work very well. Granted that was with Premire Pro 1.0. I may look into getting a second display, but as a high school student it is not a priority. Also as an avid video game player, Dual screens can get annoying (atleast in my own experience)

Look for Razorlame. It uses the LAME encoder which is very good. Don’t have a link, but you should be able to find it easily. Many people swear by it.

Dual Layer DVDs would be nice. However, they are still very expensive from what I hear.

Thanks for the help guys. By using multiple disks, does file and folder structure get messed up? I’m just making sure everything works correctly before going ahead and trying this out.

The link you have for the .zip file is the same link as the one for the .sit file. Just wanted to let you know.

What about projects that are too big for dvds? I have a 6.42gb project. That won’t fit on a standard dvd. I have put it on a dv tape of course, but wanted a way to backup the whole project.
