How fast is your workstation?
I created a generic AE project (Version 6.5) that takes from 30 to 60 minutes to render. I am curious how the different systems compare. I can post the results here.
Download AE_6.5_Benchmark.zip or AE_6.5_Benchmark.sit
Simply open the project and begin the render cue.
You can send me the results to sparkmedia at charter dot net or post them here. Please include:
Render time, minutes and seconds.
Computer OS, Processor speed, single or dual, and the amount of RAM. You can include your drives configuration if you feel there is something special… like a dual Ultra-320 Raid 5 array. -

You are correct. The link should have been AE_6.5_Benchmark.zip
And the shortest render time so far is 25 min., 59 seconds.
