Add Grain usually works for me- it does not have to have a high intensity (0.3) or a large size (0.5) and I use monochromatic.

Another way of doing it is to set the orientation of the picture layer to be always towards the camera:
Layer/Transform/Auto Orient… or Ctrl+Alt+O and check the “Orient towards camera” option.

You can render any kind of file that you want- for 32bit you will get large files though that are not meant for delivery (playback)though.
Work @32bit in your comp just don’t linearize the color space when you render (in whatever format) and you should get the same look you see in your comp window.Tudor “Ted” Jelescu

That is most likely because you have linearize color space for 32bit on- turn that off and you should get the same result as in comp window.

If you want to do fx work on your images in AE then use the full image- scaling down in Premiere may not be the best.
I would try importing the Premiere project to get all footage in AE this way and not with Dynamic link.Tudor “Ted” Jelescu

It’s a matter of setting the mask to Add or Substract, or any of the other options. One other way is to create a Shape layer, draw a shape instead of a mask and then use that layer as a Track Matte. Duplicate and place above each layer in order for it to work.

Mask one layer and then copy and paste the mask to the second.

If I understand correctly you could link all layers you want to size down to a Null and scale down the Null- this will keep proportions.
