  • Is There Any Way To Fix a Camera Pan With an Uneven Speed?

    Hi, Guys.

I’m wondering if there’s a relatively painless way to do this in After Effects… I’m working on footage with a long pan, about 10 seconds. The camera operator sort of stop/started in a few parts. The speed varies and it is very hard to fix by hand, by removing frames and speeding up and slowing down parts. This seems to me like it would be a common problem and I’m wondering if anyone’s aware of any tools in After Effects, or plugins, or even anything in Nuke for that matter, that might be able to help fix such a shot. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Figured it out. I used the warp stabilizer in After Effects. I didn’t think it would smooth the timing, but it did! Amazing!

Had no idea that warp stabilizer could fix that! Thanks for sharing.
