Check the sequence to camera output fps rate in Boujou. If you have that set to 29.97 or 30 (whatever the footage you’re tracking is at) you should be fine.
This may also help:

draw shapes on shape layer – set anchor point to center of wheel and match rotation – use shape layer as track matte.

If you have CS5 you can export a flash project from AE to Flash – this may help.
As far as compressing .flv and .f4v files, don’t do that straight from AE- use Adobe Media Encoder to compress the files (you can open the AE project in AME and render from there). That usually provides smooth video and small files.Tudor “Ted” Jelescu

October 13, 2010 at 12:08 pm in reply to: How to make it look like watching through glassSun:
1- use a lens fare (Knoll or Optical Flares are best)
2- White disk with yellowish glow and lens flare on top
If u got movement- track and apply track dataFor Window glass effect- use a light beam type effect to create a lighter stripe on the glass surface. Search the Cow for tutorials on this- I remember a few on this subject.

October 12, 2010 at 6:46 pm in reply to: [AE CS5] Animating water in still imageNot seeing an example of the kind of image you have, I will suggest a few things:
1- try to use footage of moving water (shoot some yourself or buy some from a footage library- no regular plugin can match that) to create a large plate of animated water that matches the size of the waves/ripples in your still image and covers the whole width of it. Make that a 3d layer and match the perspective of your image. Mask out the water surface and comp the water plate behind. Color correct to match the look of the still water.
2- get fancy and use FreeForm. Create a displacement map from the water plate itself to give more 3dimensionality to the water and position the water layer in 3d space to match perspective using the FreeForm controls (like in this tutorial:
https://library.creativecow.net/jelescu_tudor/3D-from-2D-image_AE/1
3- Create distorted reflections of sky and objects that are close to the water (trees, buildings..etc)using the same animated water layer as a displacement map on the mirrored image of the objects.Tudor “Ted” Jelescu

It’s a tool that may work great for some shots- other shots you will need to do classic roto. Anyway, no other tool can do a rough matte as fast, so I give it thumbs up!

you can also select roughly the area you want to glow, feather the mask, crush white in Levels and apply glow (animate all to your liking), then apply a lens flare- Knoll or Optical Flares

October 1, 2010 at 7:08 pm in reply to: Different Macs outputing different colors with RED footage.Did you set up CS4 to interpret RED files color space as HDTV (Rec.709).
Are your projects 32 bit?
Are you viewing all final footage on the same computer or comparing the different shots on the computers they are rendered, and if so, are all monitors the same and calibrated?Tudor “Ted” Jelescu

Puppet tool works for that

Use motion blur.
Also render interlaced- some uncompressed format. Then use an encoding soft- like Adobe Media Encoder to compress progressive.Tudor “Ted” Jelescu
