How To Get This Glow Effect?
I’m really intrested in creating the effect used in this video from 0.28 to 0.33.

To me that looks like a custom lens flare that was on top of the planet layer, with the mode set to add. Animate the brightness property and voila.

you can also select roughly the area you want to glow, feather the mask, crush white in Levels and apply glow (animate all to your liking), then apply a lens flare- Knoll or Optical Flares
