Work in 16 or 32 bit and render a sequence of files tga @ 32bit or uncompressed tiff.
Sometimes it helps to add grain.Tudor “Ted” Jelescu

Not knowing the exact camera that was used I can only guess that what you have is anamorphic HD at 1440×1080. The PAR (pixel aspect ratio) is 1.333. If you interpret footage correctly in AE so that the PAR is 1.333, then it will look fine when you output it at 1920×1080 (1440 x 1.333 = 1920).

what kind of 3d model- is it a 3d PSD layer, a model imported with Zaxwerks Invigorator or Pro animator, an extrudet shape with Free Form or are you talking about a 3d layer… Give more details.
As far as the reflection on the floor, the easiest way if you have a true 3d composition is to use 3D Reflector from Zaxwerks: https://www.zaxwerks.com/reflector/index.shtmlor this one from videocopilot:

You can always render tga sequences or uncompressed Tiff.
For compression to a delivery codec bring the sequence back in AE, open the AE comp in Adobe Media Encoder and compress from there. MPEG2 is still the one codec that does not give banding, but I had luck in certain situations with h264, if I setup key frames for every frame.
flv or f4v work sometimes as well.Tudor “Ted” Jelescu

May 12, 2011 at 6:48 pm in reply to: How to Changing all of the comps size in 1 timeDon’t give up just because you hit a wall- it’s experiences like these that make you grow. Compared to a Mac clone- a Umax it was with a 604e processor- and AE 3.0 (that’s the system I started working on), what you have now is a lot more advanced. It may take a bit of time, but if you keep going you’ll get better and make more money and upgrade your system. I bet none of the folks you see answering questions on this forum had a smooth and painless learning curve with AE 😉

This tutorial may help:
https://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/particle_explosion/
It is using a stock AE particle system. You can create 2 animations of the logos exploding and reverse the second one. The trick will be transitioning from one to the other. One suggestion is to work at a high frame rate and render that out and then import in a standard frame rate comp and you will get the explosion in slow motion. You can then time remap that in order to slow down the explosion to the end. You can even have the camera change perspective while you transition between the two explosions.Tudor “Ted” Jelescu

May 12, 2011 at 5:52 pm in reply to: How to Changing all of the comps size in 1 timeJust to add to what Walter said- you can change the size of your comp to 1050×576 to maintain the aspect ratio of 16:9 and then when you render out you can “stretch”(change pixel aspect ratio) in the render queue settings to the PAL DV widescreen.
