If you can hang in there for a few more months there may be more options available.
If not, the nVidia cards are your best option. For your system you can choose to go the recommended/supported models or venture in the unknown and go for the newer cheaper models based on other peoples reviews. If you have a backup system and you can afford the risk, it will save you some cash in the beginning, but if yur workflow demands a reliable system then you may save more with a more expensive but tested card.Tudor “Ted” Jelescu

The animation of the text dropping in looks like an animation preset for 3d Text- you find those in the AE Animation presets.
The glow/shine on the letters can be created individually by isolating a letter, animating a qlow to come on and go out in a few frames. You can also duplicate that layer and apply a quick Directional Blur (vertical) whose animation matches the number of frames of the Glow. bt.709 is Rec. 709 in AE. Choose that as working space and see if that does the trick. If you still get paler colors and your work at 32bit, right click on the footage file > Interpret footage > Color Management > and choose “Interpret As Linear Light” as “Off for 32 bpc”.

One workaround is to render the clip in H264 and then render a separate alpha/matte pass using the same- of course that implies that you can use the two on the other end. If you need an embedded alpha Apple ProRes 444 should give you smaller files than Animation.

If you’re referring to the shadow branches/roots, I would pre-comp the animation, make it 3d and change the anchor point to have the Y axis at the point where you want the bend to be, duplicate and rotate one of the layers to match perspective. Link one layer to the other and use the latter to position both. This way you have one animation/effect that can be adjusted in the pre-comp and the ability to position and match perspective.
Another way would be to use Free Form or FreeForm Pro to bend a layer in 3d space and match the walls.

It would be easier if you can post a still and be more specific on what kind of effect you are looking to apply. I can think of a way to do this but only for certain kinds of effects. Post some more details.

Once you setup the interface as you like it, AE should always open with the same setup for every new project and for all projects that you have saved using the new interface setup. However, older projects will open with the setup that was used when the last save was done.

You can just drag any panel in the second monitor- click on the tab at the top and position where you want it. You can create you own custom setup. To combine panels drag and drop over to have all panels stacked with tabs at the top or go to any of the edges until you get a blue highlight to obtain a split window.
