When you say the multibridge HD cannot be used as a capture device..are you referring to having to use a Decklink HD card? We already have the HD Card. If so, I think the Multibridge HD will work fine for us. thanks

So are you saying that when you shoot in true 16:9 (not anamorphic) the tape stores it as a 4:3 image? Then you have to Unsqueeze it back to 16:9 in FCP?

Why would it pre-roll on a record edit? I’m not inserting. Plus, its not exactly 3 seconds, its more like 3:28. I edited on M100 for 8yrs, and when I made a record edit, it started recording immediately. Maybe its a FCP and Avid thing. Kind of annoying though.
