When you import the PSD, do you see all the layers in the Import Layered File dialog? If so, did you select Individual Layers and make sure to select all the checkboxes for each layer?
To paste to a specific track, make sure you have targeted the desired video and audio tracks. By default, V1 is targeted. Select/click V3 (it should highlight and you’ll also see a tooltip mentioning track targeting) and deselect V1. Paste should now go to V3.

It’s not exactly the same, but Premiere’s equivalent is the Project Manager. File menu > Project Manager.

April 9, 2015 at 3:32 pm in reply to: Strange text in program monitor of premiere pro cc 2014Has someone been debugging or running tests on your system? This is a debug option and can be turned off (it is off, by default). Open the Console panel (Ctrl + F12), set to Debug Database View. Under EnableDogEars, type in False and click Enter key. Close Console and play in Program Monitor. It should now go away.

April 7, 2015 at 2:00 am in reply to: Can you change the Column View from the Media Browser when looking inside another premiere project? It is more of a limitation of the current implementation. Each file type (viewed via Directory Viewer in the Media Browser) has a number of column options, with different possibilities. For Projects, the Directory Viewer is currently limited to displaying Name, Comment, Frame rate, Frame Size, Audio Sample Rate and Duration.
That said, please feel free to submit a feature request to let us know what other columns you would like to be enabled for Projects.
https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishformThe only other option I could think of would require you to view your files (within Media Browser) outside of a Project. eg: go to the directory that contains the files and set Directory Viewer (top right eyeball menu) to File Directory for the greatest amount of options (or other file types). You could then Edit Columns and choose the add or disable column options.
And… I realize that depending on how your files are organized on your storage device, this may or may not be fit your needs.

Just above the timecode and next to your Sequence name, you’ll see a wing menu item. Click that and deselect “Show Audio Time Units”

Yes, please let us know the audio codec. Premiere’s native AVI support is a bit limited for audio. Unfortunately, when the audio is not supported, there are cases where Premiere will not report this and it will just import as video only.

March 31, 2015 at 9:38 pm in reply to: Project Manager Consolidate and Transcode…can’t with DVCPRO HD footageUnfortunately, Consolidate and Transcode does not currently support 24p pulldown clips, as none of our exporters support this. This is why you receive the warning message and the clips are copied.
Getting 29.97 with a ProRes or any other preset is an open issue and is not the expected behavior.

Is your Sequence frame size the same as your files? If you create a Sequence of the same size (3000×4000), then you should not run into this issue with your files. You could even drop one file on to the ‘New Item’ icon on the bottom right of the Project panel and it will create a new Sequence based upon the file frame size.
If you want to see the entire image in a smaller frame size Sequence, you can select all of the files in the Sequence, right-click and select ‘Scale to Frame Size’

The native ProRes export is limited to Mac 10.8.x, so the presets are provided as an added download that was mentioned in earlier post. .epr presets should work between AME and Premiere Pro.
As far as WMV export on Mac, feel free to submit a feature request.
