it was made on a PC..I just had to go in and resave all the files for Mac… It is working now. Thanks for all your help.

don’t panic… just reset the scratch disk just as you had them before. This just happend to me a few weeks ago. If your drive is mounted it will reset. Your media will not go offline. I promise…

Just relink it. Open up log and capture click on the capture settings tab and then the scratch disk button. Then just reset your drives.

try using the I and O keys on the keyboard…that is what I use to set the in and out.

When I black a tape, I usually start the black 5 sec before I want it to record… in your case start the black at 00:58:40;00.. just a thought.

The buzz is not on the media. We have taken it in other rooms digitized the clip and there was no buzz. We have listen to the tape with headphones on in another deck and there is no buzz. The cables are balanced. We have three suites here 2 are Avid and only 1 is FCP. So, I can’t move the card around… The real thing that is getting us is that it doesn’t happen all the time. For a while it was for a couple weeks in a row then it seemed to stop for about a month. Now it was back this week. That is what is a pain we can’t seem to nail down a reason.
