I would say… save it in Illustrator 10 format, and make sure NOTHING is checked in the pop up box (I think there is 4 choices), if that doesnt work, resave it and try again using the same settings…
This actually happened to me yesterday and this was my solution… no idea why the re-save worked, but it did.
If that doesn’t work, then I would try re-installing the plugin, and then retry the previous step…
And if that doesn’t work… I ain’t gotta clue. Good luck my friend.

The way that I do it is you enable time remapping, create a keyframe on the frame you want, delete the first and last time remapping keyframes, shorten your work area to the few frames right there, and export as a jpeg sequence, and then open it in PS and pull the one that you want.
And then you can save that to whatever format you need outta PS.
sounds like a long process but its actually pretty fast once you do it a couple of times.

I actually made this effect for a sports video I made… What I did was apply a CC Radial Blur or CC Radial Fast Blur to an adjustment layer… hold keyframe it so that it happens instantly. Then sometime while that CC Radial Blur effect is happening (should only last at most 10 frames) do a quick 3 or 4 frame dissolve between your two clips and you got the effect…
At least thats how i did it.
let me know if it works out.

Ahh that would make sense… it is only being used for web, but I will check those settings… I never even thought about that… Thanks! I’ll check that when I get home and get back to you….

They should be in Effects>Distort/Stylize/Simuation to name a few… if they aren’t you should check your Plugins folder in Program Files>Adobe>Adobe After Effects>Support Files>Plugins>Cycore Effects
if they aren’t there, you probably need to re install the program because there was probably a glitch in installing it.

December 21, 2007 at 5:04 pm in reply to: Opening Titles in “Return To The House On Haunted HILL”My first thought was stop motion but i guess you could simulate it with the liquify tool or some other distortion tool, and just use a ton of Hold Keyframes as it animates down, every other frame or so… to give it that stop motion-ey look

yeah I would also say google images and then just recolor it and everything in either PS or AE to match your scene.
