So I have footage that is around 50 mins long, that I enabled time remapping, and shortened it to 2 1/2 mins, (its of a bay outside my window)

I added a curves adjustment layer masked of to the water, and another curves adjustment layer masked of to the sky, added a lot of contrast and enhanced the blues to the water…

So I tried to render out to .AVI, and H.264 Quicktime and both times the color has come out duller than before… I can tell that there still have the adjustment layers affecting them, but its just not the same as what it looks like in the comp window…

Anyone know anything that I don’t?

    Thanks

Is this for TV or for the web. A computermonitor can display millions of colors. However, your TV screen typically only displays 256 colors. On top of this, even if you are using it on a computer, one of your settings may be set for broadcast and therefore it is reducing the number of colors.

Ahh that would make sense… it is only being used for web, but I will check those settings… I never even thought about that… Thanks! I’ll check that when I get home and get back to you….
