have the same problem of not rendering.. it just stays at 0 though the timer keeps ticking so i am not sure what is wrong.. seeking help on this aswell as I have few projects ready to be rendered and its playing up

I had already tried restoring disk image no luck
just tried system restore as well (windows 7 have both options) .. same problem it seems like vegas is not rendering anything at all..
I am not sure what to do 🙁

Hi John !
thanks for the solution .. worked smoothly even though it was zoomed a bit since pan/crop works in square so I lose some area on the sides and have to cut clips to make it centered a little hassle but gets the job done !
I am still seeking help with output video formats .. please let me know with any suggestions !@

Thanks a lot for your help, I was wondering where the icon was but searched help topics for ripple edit and got it.
I have a couple of more issues with one with aspect ratios but I think it would be better to post it on new thread so other users can find it.

Also on Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0, I can’t figure out how to change the motion of the film (how to do fast motions and slow motions). On older versions I could just drag the motion line on the clip file to change it.. any suggestions will be appreciated
