    Hello every one..
I have been using sony vegas pro 9.0 for few months now, but since yesterday I am facing this weird problem.
When I try to render a file (no matter to what format) the render meter remains at ‘0%’ for no matter how long you leave it.
The time elapsed and remaining time keep changing but the percentage remains to zero.
I tried leaving for hours still no progress, I have few projects that really needs to be rendered and this is causing a huge delay.
When I try to stop the render the timer stops but the window gets frozen, so every time I have to stop it from task manager.
Yesterday I uninstalled some programs from my control panel and I might have uninstalled some program that is associated with it .. but I am not sure what..
    ANy help would be appreciated

It sure does sound like something important got uninstalled along with those programs. That’s not supposed to happen. Anyway, just restore the last disk image you have. If you don’t have a recent one (shame on you!), then try system restore.

Don’t waste a lot of time on this. Reinstalling Windows will often be faster.

I had already tried restoring disk image no luck
just tried system restore as well (windows 7 have both options) .. same problem it seems like vegas is not rendering anything at all..
I am not sure what to do 🙁

If you could render fine yesterday, but can’t render today, then any disk image older than yesterday should restore the rendering function.

Again, don’t waste a lot of effort, especially if this is a work machine. Just reinstall Windows and get back to work.

Oh wait. I think I misinterpreted your post. You said you restored a disk image created with Win7? Sorry, but unless you specifically customized that function it didn’t back up your entire C drive. So it’s pretty much useless.
