Any ideas as to why i’m not? It’s not just the lava Generated media, but a few more (described in the other thread).

Sorry to keep adding info in each post, but i keep remembering new info.

About a week or 2 ago i downloaded a new graphics card driver update (amd catalyst 12.10) through catalyst control centre control panel. Could this be the problem? I have thought about uninstalling and reinstalling but i’m not quite sure how. I’ve tried to find the software on their site too but no luck.

Hi mate, thanks for the reply.

Nope, not locked, have only just recently downloaded the song, so the song has only been played on one comp. There is also the issue with the video file that cannot be played on the sony vegas on my desktop pc (see link i posted in first post) but does play on my laptop. The problem most certainly is something with my desktop PC and not the files, but i have absolutely no idea what.

    Hi Steve,

Thanks for the reply, i tried what you suggested (connecting the desktop monitor to the laptop)and the file still matches what i see on the laptop monitor. In addition to this problem, what i am also discovering now is that i can’t play a certain audio file on my desktop PC, whereas again, i can on my laptop. Audio file information below:

    Codec : mp4a: MPEG-4 AAC LC

    Container:
    M4A : Apple iTunes AAC-LC (.M4A) Audio
    – mp42: MP4 v2 [ISO 14496-14]
    – isom: MP4 Base Media v1 [IS0 14496-12:2003]

Anyone have any ideas on what the issue could be? It’s beginning to get slightly infuriating that a lesser machine is working more efficiently to one that is superior.

Thanks again for the help, much appreciated.
