FCP does not support HDV. You might try HDVxDV or LumiereHD.

Hi Vlad,
Is Toast doing the compression or are you using something else? I’m assuming the material is 4:3 to start and it sounds like whatever is compressing it thinks it’s 16:9.

Always leave something obviously wrong in it for the client (and wife) to find.

Make sure your DV sequence is in widescreen. If you’re seeing letterboxing it sounds as if the DV sequence is standard 4:3.

You need to give us a lot more information about what title tool you’re using and exactly what you’re doing to create the titles in the sequence. This normally doe snot happen.

Your media is much smaller than the sequence settings you’re using. What’s the media? What are the sequence settings?

They probably can’t even give it away.

If you leave the messages on your computer they remain on the server. When the messages get deleted from your computer they’ll get deleted from the server.

No idea. I don’t do anything with Microsoft except Word, and I just move my Word files.
