they are mainly off to the side of the persons head. how would I use cureves to remove them

Welcome Ty, great to see you here. Ty has over the past year given me solid advice on equipment purchases and correct microphone selection. His web site is very informative. I only wish I found it before purchasing what I thought was the correct microphone for the job, only to find it was not. It is great to have a sound professional here that has the experience behind what he says. Good to see you Ty, I am sure we will all keep you very busy.

Lots of information on Adobe’s web site such as:
“Premiere Elements cannot use multiple timelines or nested sequences, batch capturing, surround-sound editing, and some Premiere Pro color correction tools. But like Pro, it can accommodate up to 99 video and audio tracks in the same project file.”

Just don’t quite understand what you might go to a Mac and still use Premiere ? Have you looked at FCP. If you like Premiere why would you not stay with a pc laptop ? Just curious why you are mixing

As one just said go check out Weva. Look at local videographers demos and you will see what you need. Gets real boring, I mean 5 minutes of a couple holding hands and looking into each others eyes or 45 minutes of people dancing. After you do so many of them they are really all the same.

Spiro , just to add to Ty’s advise ( which I listen to very well, thanks Ty ) My main freelance work is such as yours , doing interviews. My client very much WANTS to hear the questions and replys. Audio is getting more important to me,finding it is harder to get clean crisp audio than a clear steady video image. So I have invested more into it this year than cameras. You get what you pay for, also you have to take time to learn to use it correctly and find what works and what doesn’t. One final thought, don’t be afraid to redo your shots if you think something is wrong. People watching will want to hear the question and the answer. Best of luck

Just to add to everyones great advise. I did a bunch of interviews last year on the road, did not bring my 302 mixer, trying to adjust levels in the camera is a pain, think about it, what ever camera you are using you have to TOUCH the camera while shooting.
For the recent set of interviews I did I bought along the mixer, granted a little more setup but the audio was great. Was able to control the 2 mics and keep the levels constant, in post the editor was happy as could be , said he didn’t even touch the audio.
Most importantly, monitor your sound
