FWIW, I have had conversations with tech support about the same issue with my Kona 3. They said PrP does not embed TC in the HD-SDI stream. They said FCP 7 does .

To my eyes video will never look like film.
But, you can try to approximate the look with…
1. Excellent lighting – a key ingredient that makes film looks great.
2. Correct exposure to get the DOF film is capable of and to generate the wide tonal range that is another film attribute.
3. Get grain and emulsion generators like the new Film Convert plugin
4. Skilled color correction

As a beta tester for CS6 I developed an appreciation for some of the factors that are considered when developing the software. Just a few inclue, how many folks are sending in bug / feature reports, what new innovations are being added, new technologies/codecs that need to be supported and the limited time frame from version to version to get this all done. It increased my respect for Adobe employees ten fold.

Keith, they will probably be more likely to read the bug/feature reports although Adobe folks do have an intermittent presence at he the below site link as well.

PrP doesn’t function in that manner. You need to razor the in and out points then do the ripple delete.

Very nice looking stuff!
Its kind of strange not seeing them move at all, but of course thats one of the understood aspects of Element in AE. Limited animation capabilities.

Really? Im running the 2 latest drivers nad CS 6.02 on a HP Z820/64GB ram/Nvidia 570 / Dulce DQg2 Raid and at this point Im only having one problem with the Kona 3.
No delays between computer screen and external monitor playback. The only issue I have is Im not getting analog audio out from the Kona 3 breakout box. I just feed my computer audio out into my speaker preamp and all is well.
