On the Adobe forum the programmer that introduced that bug fessed up to me about creating it. 😀

He said until its fixed if you export AE thru AME this issue can be avoided.
I can understand your preference for Cineform due to its ability to handle nonstandard video displays. I guess I will continues with MXF OP1a until I have a good reason to switch.

I hate to be simplistic , but have you tried the basic Mac repairs…Trash Prefs and Repair Permissions (ONYX)?
Another repair is to delete all Media Caches and Preview files.
And lastly, create a new sequence like the old sequence. Then copy and paste the old timeline to the new timeline . I hope something here can help you.

Walter S., have you had any issues with Cineform on the PC? I had very bad experiences with it on the Mac and am gun shy.
Also I like DNxHD and OP1a AVC-I because they are free and available to anyone who needs to play the files back.And they are accepted industry standards (US for DNxHD and Europe for OP1a) where Cineform is not.
What are your thoughts?

I select OP1a at the very top. Then half way down the screen under VIDEO I choose AVC-I 100.

Actually in my exploration of exporting different codecs I have done it in AVI 1920 x 1080 uncompressed. The file is like 5 x bigger then DNxHD.
Here is the export screen setting I used.

Obviously you just came here to vent. If you wanted help obviously you would have provided more info so folks here could help.
Merely as a point of comparison I can tell you on my PC I am not having any major issues with CS6.
If you have received the help you needed to resolve your issues then I am glad for you.
