Yes, I have recently had the same experience and resolved it in the same manner. Seems to get “stuck”.

Different strokes for different projects. Ones that need 3d particles and motion thru 3d space, Particular is great. For projects that dont, and benefit from the wide variety of presets (AE plug soon?), PI is my choice.
Just depends on the effect your trying to achieve. I personally will choose PI more often when it resides in AE. Timing and expressions and blend modes are often crucial to speedy success and these will only happen when its a plug.

Definately a chroma key with a matte fill.Cleanest, quickest and easiest way to get the look. Be sure to light you CK background flat and even.

As bummed as I may be, I still applaud your efforts and remain one of PI biggest fans

BOOOOOOO:) Why did you release this when PI for After Effects was
slated for release a month ago? Is there a bigger user base for PI 3 for the MAC then there are After Effects users? Just a little disappointed….

Yes sir, that did the trick. Thanks for the tip on where I can get info for understanding what substrings are and what it means to split them (And this enthusiasm from someone who still has nightmares about high school math class!).
    Your help is truly appreciated.
