    I seem to recall reading somewhere that there are no generated shadows or DOF.
    I will check when I boot up M3 tonight.

    Oh Man! Ive been exploring the 3D environment of Motion 3 and its hard tearing myself away
    to eat. Along the way Ive discovered a treasure chest of preset (font styles(gradiations ,etc)…font effects(animated glints) and swirly animated brush strokes. All of which are editable. The content included is dizzying! And Im sure Ive only scratched the surface…as my camera pulls back from a ECU of a rectangle of blinking boxes to reveal gradiated text that has its borders caressed by a white swirly…. WHEW!

    Multiformat timeline…Wow, Motion 3 with 3D Camera…Wow, Soundtrack Pro autoconform to changes made in FCP…Wow, FX Plugin speed…Wow, Motion tracking Text…Wow.
    No problems here and Im runiing on a 3year old G5 2-3.0 PPC….thats a big WOW as well.

    Heres a thought…If you already own Motion 3 (as stated in your first posting), why not try
    doing some creative stuff with it to see if it meets your needs?

    Thanks, I think that probably answers my question. The new motion emitters in Motion 3 must be a “new breed”.
